Aurora is pleased to announce that the company has been appointed by Edward Dewhurst Ltd. to carry out a protection coordination study for a major electrical upgrade at the Barrow in Furness general hospital. The overall project aim is to install a new major LV MCC, and feed the existing MCC from the new MCC, with all the associated cabling works and earthing upgrades.

Aurora’s scope is to carry out a full protection coordination study for the system, and propose new protection settings for the various HV and LV relays and trip units on the system to ensure that correct discrimination is maintained within the system.

Aurora look forward to working with Edward Dewhurst again on this important project.
