Aurora is pleased to announce that it has been selected by AICA / Costain to carry out a detailed CDEGS earthing design study as part of a major upgrade at the Wyelands WTW operated by Severn Trent Water near Ross on Wye, in the UK.

Aurora’s role is initially to carry out a detailed, non-invasive site survey of the existing earthing system, measurement of the soil resistivity and fall of Potential test on the existing earthing grid. Once this first stage is complete Aurora have then been tasked with preparing an earthing schematic diagram for the new system, propose a neutral-earthing configuration for a new step-up generator transformer and then to carry out a full CDEGS earthing study to comply with the WIMES regulations and ENA 41-24.

This is a complex and ambitious project, for a key site within the Severn Trent network, and Aurora look forward to supporting the project through to completion.
