We are currently recruiting for a Power System Studies Engineer
to work with us to help strengthen our electrical team. The role will be office based, with the need for occasional site visits.
The ideal candidate should have 1-2+ years of electrical engineering experience, gained within a consultancy, ICP, DNO, renewable
developer, M&E Contractor or similar environment. Ideally the candidate will have had some experience in power system studies and
simulation.
Candidates are expected to be working toward, achieving chartered engineer status (CEng).
This role is specialist in nature and will cover a wide range of studies, and engineers will be encouraged to broaden their skills. Aurora
is a young and expanding electrical consultancy so there will be many opportunities to grow with the company.
The role can be based in our office in either our Bristol and Bath Science Park office, or in our office in Dorchester, Dorset. Hybrid working may be possible after the initial training phase.
Applications, from more experienced engineers are welcome, and the offered salary would be increased to match experience levels.

Engineering, or a related field, and have a good understanding of electrical engineering theory.
The ideal candidate should have 4+ years experience gained within a consultancy, ICP, DNO, renewable developer, M&E Contractor
or similar environment, and have at least 2 years experience in power system studies and simulation. Candidates are expected to be working
toward, or already achieved chartered engineer status (CEng).
This role is specialist in nature and will cover a wide range of studies, and engineers will be encouraged to broaden their skills. Aurora
is a young and expanding electrical consultancy so there will be many opportunities to grow with the company.
The role can be based in our office in Dorchester, Dorset, or our new office in Bristol. Hybrid working options may be agreed for the right candidate.
