Aurora was commissioned by Emico to carry out an earthing study for the Atlas Road and Victoria Road Cross Box sites for the HS2 Rail Line.

Aurora carried out an initial site soil resistivity survey, and then created a model of the whole electrical system using the CDEGS modelling package to assess the individual substation Earth Potential Rise (EPR) along with the associated touch and step voltages. Finally, Aurora then developed a series of installation drawings and layouts for the proposed earthing systems.
