Capita – HV Network Protection Coordination Study

High Voltage Engineers, Aurora are pleased to announce that they have been appointed by Capita to carry out a series of power system studies for a large HV network upgrade, for a key strategic site in the UK.  The overall project aim is to install a new major HV switchboard and strengthen the resilience of the HV network of the site, and to allow for planned future upgrades.

Aurora’s scope is to carry out a full load flow, short circuit and protection coordination study for the whole system using ETAP. The stud will be used to validate the proposed system design during normal, emergency and fault conditions and to select new protection settings for the various HV and LV relays.

Aurora look forward to working with Capita on this important project.
