Aurora is pleased to announce that they have been appointed by ENERG to undertake an earthing study for a new 11kV RMU and 850kW generator as part of a new CHP installation project at Poole Hospital.

Aurora undertook an initial assessment of the sites existing earthing configuration, before arranging a site soil resistivity model and then developing a model of the site using the CDEGS package. Aurora was able to demonstrate that the EPR of the site was negligible, and that the new equipment could be connected to the existing earth grid without concern.
