Aurora was contracted by Twyver Switchgear to undertake a rolling program of protection coordination studies and arc flash studies across a number of TESCO distribution sites in the UK.
Aurora began by undertaking a survey of each of the main sites to identify the electrical system switchgear, transformers and associated protection relays and settings. Once this was completed, a detailed model of the electrical system was created in ETAP before individual coordination studies were carried out for each of the main protection paths
