Aurora was contracted by Connected Energy to carry out a series of power system studies to support development of a new 33kV, 24MW battery storage scheme located at Halewick Lane, Sussex, in the UK.
Aurora were responsible for providing support to Conne ted Energy to help develop the analysis of a 2nd life battery storage energy scheme, with a large number of smaller inverters. Auroras scope included liasing with the inverter manufacturers, carrying out an IEC 60909 short circuit study, a Loadflow Analysis, P28 Voltage Disturbance Study, G99 Type C studies and preliminary Stage 3 harmonic assessment using DIgSILENT Powerfactory.
