Aurora was commissioned by Integrated Utility Services (IUS) to carry out a full detail design for a new a 50MW Type C battery energy storage system (BESS) located north of Edinburgh. The scope included development of the overall SLD, protection SLD, cable sizing, cable layout, cable schedule, SCADA design, earthing design and analysis, lightning protection, CT sizing and protection study.
