Grid Code Type C Compliance Studies

Aurora was commissioned by Integrum Power Engineering to carry out a full suite of Grid Code compliance studies for a Type C battery energy storage system (BESS) located in Enderby, Leicester. The study scope included creating a detailed power system model of the whole power system using DIgSILENT powerfactory, with full DSL models of the inverters and PPC. The studies carried out for the site included: Grid Code Compliance, short circuit compliance, DRC Schedule 14, P28 (RVC/SVC), G5.5 Harmonics, Protection coordination, ENA 41-24 earthing design and analysis and insulation coordination to TGN 288E.
