Aurora are pleased to announce that they have now been responsible for helping to connect over 50MW of renewable energy to the UK electrical transmission network. This figure has been achieved though a variety of different projects such as Wind, Solar PV, Hydro and Energy From Waste, and has been spread over 34 projects. Given that Aurora has been active in the UK Consultancy market for just over 2 years we think that is pretty good going!

One of the interesting things to note about renewable energy compared to conventional thermal generation is that the orders of magnitude are much smaller. For those of you who are familiar with thermal generation 50MW, may seem like a small Gas Turbine Generator, but in renewable terms it is actually very significant.
