Aurora is pleased to announce that they have recently joined the Renewable Energy Association (REA). The REA is one of the major renewable organisations in the UK, and provides a strong and compelling voice for individuals, farmers and corporations involved in this sector. At Aurora we believe that renewable power will be a major factor in the UK energy policy for the foreseeable future and will continue to be a key area for energy development and new construction. We hope that by joining the REA, we will be better placed to understand and support the requirements of the renewable energy sector and our customers. We look forward to attending some of the REA events that are forthcoming and hope to become involved with providing guidance on some of the more technical aspects of the electrical design, earthing, harmonics and the associated problems of negotiating DNO connections.
