Aurora had placed a Senior Consultant within the Petrofac office to support them in a range of Oil & Gas projects. Aurora undertook a conceptual study using ETAP to perform a transient analysis to assess the suitability of gas turbines or gas engines as prime power, and the comparative ability of different machines to accept / reject load and respond to system disturbances and perform DOL starting of the large process motors.
