Aurora is pleased to announce that it has been awarded two projects with Costain to carry out a variety of  HV and ETAP design and studies activities for the Wyelands WTW (Water Treatment Works) site and the Strensham STW (Sewage Treatment Works) plant. These two new projects are important to Costain and the utility company Severn Trent, as part of the ongoing AMP 6 upgrade works, and are a great opportunity for Aurora to further establish its credentials within the Water industry.

Aurora’s scope for the Wyelands site is to carry out the HV cable sizing, review of the HV switchgear Vendors drawings, develop the HV protection design and produce an overall protection coordination study within ETAP for the whole site.  Aurora’s scope for the Strensham site is similar to the Wyelands site, but also involves reviewing the existing earthing configuration at the site and providing guidance on any site upgrades required.
